Serving Opportunities The Vineyard Church believes that the ministry of Christ is in the Body of Christ. In other words, God is working among his people to this day through his Holy Spirit, equipping members with gifts and abilities that will inspire and lead others to fulfil their potential. In order that everything runs smoothly we have a pastor and a small group of elders to oversee the spiritual life, growth and development of the church. Home group leaders provide venues and opportunities for all members of the church to discuss their lives and ambitions, and to pray, worship and study the Bible together. Those who share certain gifts or talents, however, get together in groups of like-minded people. We have worship teams, children's church teachers and assistants, youth leaders working with our 'Group With No Name' (12+), people who love praying in a variety of ways, those who like to help administer the church's assistance to others through our Rehema ministry to members or in other, outwardly-focused ways. This list isn't exclusive, of course. There are teams of ushers, those who can help with administration and communication, individuals with gifts that help them reach out into our community. We sincerely believe that every individual in church has been given something essential for the life of the church. So, what's your gift? Which ministry could you serve? Why not get in touch and try it out? We hold a Network Course (usually September) which is an excellent tool to identify gifting and abilities, and we would encourage you to take part in this course
