Our Story

Carols By Candlelight is our twenty-three year-old annual event that has become one of Nairobi's premier family-friendly Christmas season traditions.

Christmas is a season celebrated around the globe, a time for families to gather, share a meal, and make cherished memories.

Sadly, Christmas can also be a time marked by loneliness and sadness for those who don’t have friends or family near them for the holidays.

Carols by Candlelight offers an open invitation to all to experience this joyous season as one large family.

A mix of neighborhood communities coming together in fellowship and joy.

Over the years, the carols evening has grown into a cherished tradition, consistently drawing more than 500 families.

A warm, intergenerational gathering of families, children, young professionals, and retirees.

An audience that is not just attending but sharing in a cultural and spiritual tradition that even sponsors can be part of.

It is a fun and intentional reminder that you are not alone in this world but are surrounded with love and community during this Christmas holiday.

This year's event will be held on Friday, December 12th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Kenya School of Law in Karen. Entry is free.
